Biography: Dr. Zati Hakim Azizul Hasan is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Malaya. Her research focuses on AI robotics, swarm intelligence, autonomous navigation (SLAM), and intelligent sensing technologies to address sustainability challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in smart cities, sustainable agriculture, food security, clean water monitoring, and disaster response. She has published in leading journals including Swarm and Evolutionary Computation, IEEE Access, and PeerJ Computer Science, and collaborates with partners across the UK and ASEAN through projects supported by Microsoft AI for Earth, the British Council, and UKRI. She leads the AI Robotics Lab at Universiti Malaya, mentoring students who have achieved success in RoboCup Asia Pacific, RoboCup Malaysia Open, IEEE Malaysia competitions, and international innovation exhibitions. Beyond research, Dr. Zati is committed to inclusive STEM education and community impact. Through initiatives such as KitaK2K with Think City, she promotes equitable access to robotics, coding, and AI education for underserved communities, advancing the role of AI and robotics in sustainable and inclusive societal development.

Introduction:
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) present complex global challenges that require innovative and scalable solutions. This special session,"Bridging SDG Challenges with AI Robotics," aims to explore how advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, autonomous systems, and intelligent sensing technologies can contribute to achieving sustainable development objectives across diverse sectors. The session will showcase cutting-edge research, real-world applications, and interdisciplinary collaborations addressing challenges in smart cities, sustainable agriculture, clean water and sanitation, quality education, environmental monitoring, and social inclusion. Drawing inspiration from successful AI robotics initiatives in drone inspection, precision agriculture, water quality monitoring, and STEM empowerment programs, the session seeks to foster knowledge exchange between researchers, industry practitioners, policymakers, and educators. Contributions highlighting novel methodologies, deployment experiences, ethical considerations, and sustainable AI-driven robotic solutions are particularly encouraged. This session will provide a platform for advancing research and innovation that supports the achievement of the SDGs through intelligent robotic technologies.
